Today was the first time Kelly & I got to watch her play and when she chose to focus on the ball ;) she is great! She runs "like a gazelle" as one mom told me and has some fancy foot work skills as well! No goals scored by her today, which upset her, but I was just so proud of her! So much energy and she showed great sportsmanship cheering on her friends and helping her team mates! That's my girl!!
I have to say, it is HILARIOUS to watch! They get confused on which way to go, some are staring off into outer space and then there are the times one girl from each team looks at the ball at their feet, looks at eachother and it's when the moms are going "KICK IT ____ (insert their child's name)" and the kids are trying to figure out if the rule about sharing applies here :) So funny! She told me at breakfast this morning that she is the best soccer player in the world- I don't know if I'd go that far yet- but I LOVE the drive, determination and belief in herself! Any Gen Y mom would be proud!!

I was so proud to have that time with her today- and the hug on the sideline in the middle of a play- priceless! :)

Yeah you fixed yoru comments! And yeah you have a soccer player!! Sounds like she is amazing. My Dad always yelled "BIG FOOT" when he wanted me to kick. It really stuck out from all the "kick it"s.
