Bachelorette Night

My Bachelorette was not really a "party" but just a great time with the gals! We met up at one of the newer restaurants at Park Meadows, La Sandia, on their upstairs terrace. We hit it in time for Happy Hour-- on a Saturday! Love that! :) While I sipped on Rasberry Vodka & Soda, I understand the Sangria was great too! It was so good to catch up with the girls and thanks to Yvonne I wore a little bling as well- glow ring which we decided was 50 carats- and a "Bride to Be" blinking button.

After a few hours at La Sandia, Yvonne, Jackie & I headed over to this fancy new area, The Landmark, to see a movie. We ended up on "The Hangover" but I'm still determined to see the "Time Traveller's Wife"! That movie was hilarious I have to say.... (my mom would not approve...) But at The Landmark, you get your popcorn and sodas free and then they have a bar. We ended up in a seat in the 2nd row (apparently you have to get tickets WAY early to get a better seat) but the chairs are gigantic for theatre chairs with leather arms and plenty of room for 2 elbows!

Before the movie started, 2 events helped make the night more enjoyable. First, walking up there was a Firetruck full of firemen getting ready to leave. Now, let me tell you, there is a reason they make calendars of firemen :) hahaha They invited me up into the truck after Jackie asked if I could get my picture taken with them.

Then as a man at the theatre came in to announce the movie, he said "this movie is about a groom and his friends heading off to Vegas before his wedding and I understand we have a young lady here with a few of her friends celebraing a bachelorette night out before her wedding" so I stood up and people cheered and clapped-- fun little moment and I had a super cute new dress on :)

I love my girlfriends and don't know what I would have done without some of these ladies the last few years! Just adds to how much I love living in Denver!
