Last night Kelly, Kai & I drove up to Louisville after soccer to have some quality family time with our nephews Hudson (4 1/2) and Pierce (10 months). While their parents enjoyed a little R&R together, we played Wii, with their kitten Grace, outside with their dog Max, at the park, with some ball toy where you put them in and it makes silly sounds and comes out another side..(??), with the shotgun grandpa Wilbur gave Hudson for his last birthday -shooting the birds in the pictures on the wall (Uncle Skeeter has Hudson in training)- reading books, eating Candy corn & pumpkins (thanks Lynne!), in the exer-saucer, I don't know.... just a ton of stuff- and that was only a little shy of 2 hours! Haha... amazing how much you can do in that little time when you're chasing a 6 3/4 yr old, 4 1/2 yr old and carrying a 10 month old who really just wanted me to feed him baby food instead of his bottle-- whoops! :)
We had a great time and need to go do that more often! I'm sure they can use the time together and we had a great time with the boys! Kai & Hudson get along so well now-- I'm glad she has cousins to play with! Now, if only we could figure out how to live in TX too!! Can't wait for my newest little nephew to arrive! (Nathanael is due Nov 30 to my brother & SIL)
