Although Kai and I had a season pass to Sea World in California, she was so little she doesn't remember. I was sure to make time this trip to get there as it's my favorite place to visit! We were also able to coordinate our time with the Horgans who've now been in Houston for 2 years. Kai misses her friend Liam as much as I miss Melissa so it was great to spend the day with them exploring the park.
I can't believe how much the kids have grown! Kai was excited (Liam was not) to see that she was taller than him as he is 6 months older than her (and that is a BIG deal to her!) Little baby Shaney is now 3 and Cassidy is 4 1/2.... wow. We really miss them!
Sea World of course had great shows although we didn't get to see the dolphin shows. The whole park was decorated for Christmas and just beautiful! Themed trees, a Santa in fancy "sea-style" robes, Shamu Santa and friends and a Magical Christmas Shamu Show were highlights of the park! We also were blessed to be there during the break in weather. It had been in the 30s/40s but while we were there it was 60s/70s! Yay! We had beautiful weather walking around the park which made it even more enjoyable!
I love Christmas, I love visiting my family, I love my new nephew, I love making memories with Kaileigh and I love Sea World!
