I'm all about days off right now- I find myself very envious of my friends who are stay at home moms... I sit and daydream about the places we would go, how organized my closets would be (hahaha), the places I could volunteer, the lack of stress, how I'd be on time for everything (again, hahaha), how much fun I would have with Kelly & Kai just playing and doing fun things... if only money grew on trees!
I watch other people's blogs and realize, I'm just not as good at getting on here and reflecting... BUT yesterday I started listening to some motivational CD's a friend sent me- by Michael Clouse- and I learned something new:
Anytime I think something negative, I should add the word "yet" to the end of my thought.
Examples I've already come up with:
I'm not out of debt....yet
I haven't lost the weight I want to...yet
Well, those are the two I can think of now anyway. It's interesting how critical we are of ourselves so I think I'll use this tool to help me stay as positive as possible when those ridiculous negative thoughts pop into my mind!
I'm looking to haveing a great day today- although it's not sunny--- yet! :)
