I love all the seasons we have in Colorado! It's one of my favorite parts of living here! Today, I was walking Willie at lunch and I didn't count how many, but several times, I purposefully walked along the edge of my neighbors yards where thankfully they haven't raked up their leaves yet! CRUNCH, CRUNCH, CRUNCH!!! Not that I needed it today, but what a stress relief! And although it's been coat and glove weather earlier in the week, today is mid-70's and GORGEOUS! How amazing to enjoy such beautiful surroudnings right in my own back yard.
It makes me realize, in the midst of a national economic strain- some things never change! God's wonderful hand in the Earth's seasons never changes, the love and friendships we share never change, and the special moments where we stop and take it all in never changes. You can't get those moments back-- so with, or without!!, your kids-- go out there and crunch some leaves!!
