Inpired by Ashley

So, I haven't been on here in over a month and decided to catch up on my friend Ashley's site. She always posts the cutest things about her girls, and thoughts she has. One of her posts talked about a Rainbow Room- a place for children going through adoption, to get the supplies and items they need- and how she could help out by donating. Interesting timing, as I have just gone through Kai's room with her, where she informed me she is no longer interested in My Little Pony so she'd like to find kids with no toys to give them to. What better place! She can come with me to deliver the stuff and start making those real life connections about how God has blessed her with so much! And to be giving to kids, just like her, who don't have as much as she has.



I called my local Child Protection Office who put me in touch with the Enrichment Center. I've only left a message so far, but thought that by posting this, maybe it would inspire someone else to do the same, just as Ashley's post did for me!



The economy is so bad right now, everyone's personal financial stressors are so high, and it's humbling to realize how much we are really blessed with and be able to lend a hand to someone who is really struggling. Especially these poor kids who have no official place to call home or parents to call Mom & Dad...
