Fall Snow Storm

The snow is falling!

Last night started our 3rd snow this fall -- they are calling this a Fall Snow Storm, however they are advising you don't go play in this snow. Boo! :( It's not supposed to stop until tomorrow night. Which means, no school, working from home in jammies, most likely another cancelled weekend soccer game and BEAUTIFUL scenery all around! Enjoy my pictures :)

And if you're in Denver, drive safe & stay warm- if you're somewhere warm, I'm sorry you don't get to bundle up and freeze your fingers off getting your mail :)

Yes, this is very early- we're expecting up to 18 inches of snow in town by the time it's over. Many more inches (3-4 feet) in the foothills and high country. And then Halloween is supposed to be in the 50's-60's and clear-- so kiddos will be bundled and trecking through wet yards to collec their cavities...I mean candy.

It's funny what a big deal this is in an area that gets snow every year, but still the local shows are cancelled and the news casters are reporting straight through the morning to fill us (who are warm at home) in about what it's like out there on the roads all around town.
Love it here!

**Adding on--it's now Thursday morning, no school again, WFH- Kai is still asleep! Wanted to add some more pics. Yesterday after I was done working we went out in the afternoon and I recruited the neighbor tweens accross the street to help shovel our driveway and the neighbor's with a new baby. Kai joined in the fun when she got here, I helped some too and then we had a snowball fight! Our evening ended with Homemade meatballs- a special recipe of Kelly's- with spaghetti and warm apple cider & tea. We also watched Monters Vs Aliens that Kelly rented for us! OH! And Barbie & Ken were supposed to have a date, but she dumped him for her girlfriends to go to see Hannah Montana in concert! hahaha... I love snow days!!
