I just have to blog this because-- I worked from home 3 days last week and had over 25 inches of snow! However, today-- and ALL OF THIS WEEK-- we will have potentially November record highs with the temps being in the 60s & 70s all week! WHAT!?!?
Thursday ended up being a great day to go sledding in the afternoon. Kai & I drove the neighbor boys who had been helping us shovel, over to the nearby High School and hit the sledding hills for over an hour (Wish I'd had my camera!!)
We enjoyed delish soup and grilled cheese for dinner and played our little hearts out!
Friday- certain school would only be delayed at the most- proved to be one more day at home. Getting extremely restless, we met up with some friends at Chick fil A for lunch to let the kids burn some energy and the mom's visit for a bit. The roads were fine and honestly, by the time we walked out from lunch, it was just water all over the streets. Crazy Denver.
I have to say, I wish I could have just taken off work and not had to work from home. It would have been a blast to be stuck in the house for 2 days with my "lovey" just playing Barbie, going out in the snow, scrapbooking etc. At least we got a little of that! :)
Love that girl....and still do love our (CRAZY) weather!
