My 3rd Annual Witches Night Out was Friday night. What a blast! Annie came and picked me up and we drove over to LeAnn's together. There we met up with Keri and other friends of the "coven" and started the night with Witches Brew...and then some sort of Witches Shot although I can't remember the name!
LeAnn is the best hostess ever! The house looked amazing, all decorated, the treats were to die for-- and they just recently finished their beautiful basement which made for a GREAT place to gather. I can't wait to see the pictures taken with LeAnn's camera as I only got a few.
After a little over an hour, we piled into LeAnn's car (Well, Annie and I rode over with Keri & back with LeAnn...details...) and headed over to Earl's for a late witches dinner. We got the usual comments and stares as 20 women, all dressed like witches walked on in to our table. Not only are there 20 witches, there are brooms, a caldron-- and a trophy with a witch on it too.
I have to say, each witch I voted for won in that category. This year's categories were: Most Original, Sexiest Witch & Best costume. Best Costume went to Ronnie- who desparately wanted to win!- as a "Flapper Witch" She really had a great costume!
Sexiest Witch was my main squeeze Annie-- she was in an black sparkly evening gown with beautiful detail all down the back and front- hilarious! And Most Original was Sharon who was dressed like a druid- I have to admit, I still dont' know what that is. It was her 1st year, so I think she was very excited to win!!
Annie and I have already begun planning for next year and I am determined to try for the trophy! :)
